You can visit our sites without identifying yourself or volunteering personal information. You can also access consumer education information from our sites without having to provide your personal information.
WorkMagic collects personally identifying information from you as a consumer, business customer, or visitor to our sites when you provide that data voluntarily. Such data generally includes contact information (often business contact), transactional payment information, and user preferences that you enter during registration. You may also volunteer personal information to WorkMagic when you:

Protecting personal information is a core WorkMagic value. This Privacy Statement describes how WorkMagic collects and uses the personal information you provide on our Web sites: www.WorkMagic.com and www.WorkMagic.org. It also describes the choices available to you regarding WorkMagic’s use of your personal information and the steps you can take to access this information and to request that we correct or delete it.
WorkMagic abides by the safe harbor framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of data from the European Union.

For Consumers:
Watchdog Complaints
We encourage you to use WorkMagic’s Watchdog Dispute Resolution process to report and resolve privacy complaints you may have concerning WorkMagic Sealholders or to report misuse of WorkMagic trademarks. If you choose to file a Watchdog complaint about a WorkMagic Sealholder, we require that you provide your name, email address, city, state, country, postal code, name of the Web site, URL, and a description of the privacy issue you are reporting. Any additional personal information you provide on the Watchdog Complaint Form is optional; we will use the information you provide to investigate your complaint and to send you a Watchdog Customer Satisfaction Survey once your complaint is resolved. We encourage you to complete the survey; whether you do so or not is entirely up to you.
We will not share your name or email address that is the subject of your privacy complaint, with anyone else outside WorkMagic, unless you give us explicit permission to do so. Please be aware, however, that if you do not permit us to share your name and email address, our ability to successfully resolve your complaint may be limited.
If you are a resident of a European Union Member State, and your Watchdog complaint concerns the offline information practices of a WorkMagic EU Safe Harbor Program, you have two other options for filing your complaint: you may fax your complaint to us at (305) 675-3420, or mail it to WorkMagic Watchdog Program, 1300 NW 84th Avenue, Miami, FL 33178. We will use the personal information you provide in the manner described above for all Watchdog Complaints.
We post information about Watchdog Complaints on our “For Consumers� page on a monthly basis, but only in aggregated form (i.e., without identifying individual complainants).
Consumer Opinion Surveys
We occasionally conduct online consumer surveys to learn about your views on important privacy issues. We do not collect personally identifying information in these surveys. We use the survey data to improve our programs and services, and may publicize the results as a public service.

For Businesses:
Sign-Up for WorkMagic Programs and Services
If you apply to become a WorkMagic Client through our Web site, we will use the personally identifying information you provide there (e.g., your name, address, email address and company information) to follow up with you about your application and to assist you in the deployment of services process. If you provide us the personal information of others (including but not limited to, name and email address of a colleague who will assist you in completing your application), we will use that information only for the purpose of sending your colleague a user name and password to access your application.
If your company is a WorkMagic Client, we will use the information in your application to both provide you with ongoing WorkMagic support and communicate regularly with you. From time to time we will also offer you the opportunity to receive information about privacy-related products or services offered by our third-party partners. We will not share your personally identifying information with these third parties, other than service providers, unless we have your explicit permission to do so.
We will use information submitted through our Web site to analyze the characteristics of our Sealholders in order to improve our services to them. We will occasionally provide aggregated statistics about our clients in reports made available to them, to third parties, or to the general public. These reports will not identify individual WorkMagic clients.
If you wish to sign up for WorkMagic programs other than the on-line client Program, or to simply obtain information about WorkMagic programs and services, visit our “Services Center� page or “Contact Us� form. On those pages you’ll be asked to enter your name, email address, phone number, and additional company information. We’ll use this information to contact you about your request, to assist you in the application process or to follow up with you about the programs and services in which you have expressed an interest. We will not share the information you provide with third parties, other than service providers, without your explicit permission.
You can ask us to delete the information you provided on our “Contact Us� page by contacting us as privacyquestions@WorkMagic.com. You may unsubscribe from any of our e-mail communications with you by following the unsubscribe link at the bottom of our email communications or by visiting http://forms.WorkMagic.com/go/WorkMagic/unsubscribe.
If you use any forms we provide to submit your application materials to WorkMagic, we will use the personal information you provide to process your application. We also store the information you provide on our servers for accounting purposes.
Customer Service Inquiries - LivePerson
When you communicate with a WorkMagic customer service representative using the LivePerson feature on our Web sites, collected information will include your first and last name, and your Web site URL. This data will be used to respond to your inquiry about or request for WorkMagic services or products.

WorkMagic Clients
If you are currently a member of a WorkMagic program, you can begin the process of renewing your WorkMagic seal by clicking on our How to Renew page. If you provide information on our Contact Us form, because you are requesting information about additional WorkMagic programs, we will use the contact information you provide there to respond to your request. We will not share this information with third parties, other than service providers, without your explicit permission unless otherwise provided in this Privacy Statement.
Occasionally we conduct customer satisfaction surveys so that our Sealholders can provide feedback on their experience in the WorkMagic certification process and their participation in our programs. Contact information requested in these surveys is optional. We use the survey responses to improve our programs and services to Sealholders. We also occasionally share this survey data with third parties, but only in aggregate form, i.e., without disclosing personal information or identifying individual Sealholders.
For All Visitors to Our Sites
WorkMagic Newsletter
If you sign up for the WorkMagic Newsletter throughout the Web site, we will collect your email address to fulfill your request. We will not share your email address with third parties other than a service provider that mails the WorkMagic Newsletter for us.

WorkMagic Webinars
We occasionally sponsor online seminars, or webinars, on privacy topics of interest to businesses and consumers. We collect personally identifiable information (e.g. name and email address) when you sign up to attend a webinar. We use the information we collect there in order to contact webinar participants or send them information about WorkMagic certification programs. If you sign up for a webinar and do not want to receive information about WorkMagic certification programs, please use the provided opt-out mechanism or go to our “Unsubscribe� page.
WorkMagic Press Room
If you sign up for WorkMagic press releases throughout the Web site, we will collect your email address to fulfill your request. We will not share your email address with third parties other than a service provider that mails the WorkMagic Press Releases for us.

Cookies

When you apply for certification as a WorkMagic Web Seal Program Sealholder or as a Participant in our other services or products, we use a cookie to enable you to navigate easily through the application process.
We also use cookies to analyze how visitors in the aggregate use our sites in order to make our sites as useful as possible for them. We do not use cookies to collect or store personally identifiable information.
Other Third Party Cookies
WorkMagic has engaged a third party to track usage of WorkMagic’s Web site, including information about your visit and your browsing and buying habits on WorkMagic’s Web site. Collected data may also provide information on the effectiveness of WorkMagic’s marketing appearing on other Web sites.
Web Site Analytics
We use a third-party Web analytics service provider that uses cookies, Web beacons, and other Web site technologies to help us analyze both how users use this Web site and the effectiveness of our marketing search terms. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this Web site (including, without limitation, your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by this service provider. They will use this information to evaluate your use of our Web site and compile aggregated reports for us. The information that our service provider collects and provides to us is not personally identifiable.
Information automatically collected by our sites

Providing security for the personal information that you submit via our site is a top priority for WorkMagic. We use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption for information you may provide on our Watchdog Complaint Form or when you apply to become a WorkMagic Sealholder through our Web site. WorkMagic restricts access to personal information to WorkMagic employees, contractors, and agents who are bound by confidentiality obligations and who have a need for the information in order to operate, develop, or improve our services. Please be aware, however, that no transmission of information via the Internet can be entirely secure. You should always use caution when submitting personal information online. This Privacy Statement applies to WorkMagic services only. Our Sites include links to other Web sites whose privacy practices may differ from those of WorkMagic.
